The Petition of the undersigned humbly
sheweth:-
That
Your
Petitioner is the widow of the
A. J. M. F. Fleming deceased who died on
the 25th instant, holding at the time of his
decease the positions of
First Clerk and
Acting Chief Clerk in the Colonial Secretary's Office, and
Acting Clerk of Councils.
That
Your
Petitioner's late husband had
completed his fortieth year of
service in the
Government, having joined
the employment of
the 1st January
1841, and was about to
apply for his pension when overtaken by death.
